Summary
Maintenance will support our staff in all locations (Paramus, Hackensack & Paterson). This will provide maintenance of the facilities, grounds, and other areas of the credit union.

Responsibilities
➢ Remove garbage from facilities including offices, parking lot, lobbies, member areas, bathroom, etc.
➢ Clean, dust, polish furniture and fixtures
➢ Cleaning windows of the branch offices
➢ Refilling bathroom supplies and minor plumbing
➢ Minor painting, if required
➢ Inter-office mail delivery, as required
➢ Replace ceiling tiles when needed
➢ Replace light bulbs, cleaning supplies, and other janitorial work
➢ Ability to travel to branches using the GAFCU automobile
➢ Used ad backup for the Facilities Coordinator in his/her absence
➢ Delivery of mail to post office
➢ Maintaining of the coffee machines

➢Other tasks and project as assigned

Qualifications
➢ High School Diploma or GED equivalent
➢ The ability to constantly walk and move about.
➢ This role involves frequent stationary standing, reaching, bending/twisting of head, and maintaining balance while walking.
➢ The role also requires using ladder/step stool equipment, occasional kneeling, crouching, climbing, bending/stooping at waist/torso and sitting to assist employees.
➢ Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of each Branch.
➢ Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
➢ Use of the following senses are critical to this position: speaking, hearing, near & far acuity, depth perception and field of vision.
➢ Must have a valid Driver’s License.
