Summary of the Maintenance position:

• Monday - Friday 7 AM - 4 PM
• Pay is $16-17/hour DOE

Responsibilities of the Maintenance position:
The Maintenance position does repairs and maintains physical structures, machinery and mechanical equipment and pipe and electrical systems by performing the following duties:

• Visually inspects, tests and listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses with machine operators, supervisor or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem and/or repair.
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Cleans and lubricates shifts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
• Lays out, assembles installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
• Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drills, etc. to repair jigs, fixtures and tools.
• Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Fabricates and repairs, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.

Qualifications & Requirements for the Maintenance position:

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Regularly required to stand and use hands to perform various job duties and to walk talk and/or hear; frequently required to sit; occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and taste or smell. Must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• Specific vision abilities include close and distance visions, color visions, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• Will need steel toed boots.
