Job Title: Machine Operator Ti Ano

The Titanium (Ti) Anodize Machine Operator is responsible for producing the highest quality finish possible on our titanium anodize line. The Ti Anodize Machine Operator must be a team player, who will help Omni Components achieve target production goals

Department/Shift: M-F 2nd Shift Classification: Non-exempt

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Responsible for performing all anodizing activity per work instructions and process job travelers.
  • Assist in the inspection of product and notify department lead or manager of any non-conformances.
  • Wire or clip objects to anodizing rack and immerse rack in series of cleaning, etching and rinsing baths.
  • Position objects in anodizing tank by suspending them from anode.
  • Remove objects from tank after specified time.
  • Hang objects on racks to air dry.
  • Application and removal of masking material on components in accordance with work instructions.
  • Inspect finished components for correct color and workmanship requirements.
  • Work under a microscope performing component visual inspections as needed.
  • Use of automated and semi-automated equipment as needed.
  • Perform scheduled operator level maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work area.
  • Perform a variety of operational tasks and duties in support of our operational goals. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Basic ability in mathematics.
  • Ability to understand verbal & written instructions including, but not limited to the ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals, instruction sheets, technical data, work orders, training manuals, and other verbal/computer-based training

. • Detail-oriented and consistent.

  • Ability to multi-task, problem solve, prioritize and work under time constraints

. • Ability to work and communicate well with others.

  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.

Physical Demands • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time. • Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced. • Manual dexterity in order to perform job functions effectively. • Prolonged periods working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and stooping. Required Education and Experience • High school diploma or equivalent required. • At least one year of related experience desired. • Completion of on-the-job training may be substituted for experience
