Ahold eCommerce Sales Company (AES) is a distribution facility based in Jersey City which supplies product for an expanded Stop & Shop Delivery fulfillment operation in the NY Metro market. We are in search of driven and detail-oriented professionals to handle receiving, selection and delivery from our highly automated center.

Job Responsibilities
Support Operations team to keep the entire operation balanced and running throughout the shift.
Use various types of powered equipment to move materials around the warehouse.
Assist in monitoring and reacting to Fulfillment, Putaway and Replenishment issues and needs.
Can diagnose and resolve some routine technology issues.
Communicates the circumstances to the Flow Desk; engages with others as necessary to bring the issues to quick resolution.
Aggressively promote a safe and sanitary work environment in all areas.
Creates and maintains a positive, team-oriented environment via daily working relationships across all levels within the shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
1+ years warehouse or related experience.
Prior machine operation in a warehouse/distribution setting.
Experience in operation of machinery correctly and safely.
Strong communications skills, able to engage with others.
Adaptable to change and able to think quickly.
Demonstrated aptitude to functioning in a fast-paced environment.
Good listening skills.
Strong attention to detail and awareness of surrounding environment.
Familiarity with assembly line / manufacturing principles a plus.
