Luxsurance Trusted Advisor

This in house role involves advising and serving Luxsurance Retail partners by acting as the relationship liaison between Luxsurance and its retail network. This onboarding specialist and account executive position leverages JM's business development sales team utilizing the platform-tools to achieve and beat sales goals. Functions include onboarding retailer, training and cultivating relationships driving business growth and retention. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Cultivate, solicit, and nurture new jeweler partnerships
  • Accountable for driving top line business results to achieve and exceed Key Performance Indicators (new program enrollments, new business premium, retention, engagement, and profitability) for Jeweler Solutions.
  • Assess, coach and direct integration needs of potential client and onboarding demands between JM and prospective clients
  • Responsible for engaging in a sales strategy and process for jewelers that increases partnership engagement
  • Responsible for presentations, contract negotiations, and compensation review of key strategic accounts
  • Identify and assess areas of opportunity for improvement in sales, onboarding, and nurturing and work with peers on creating the solutions to improve the partner and consumer experience
  • Collaborate cross functionally to create effective presence at industry events and trade shows aimed at new business development
  • Maintain knowledge of current market trends, competitor products and pricing, and JM product/program revisions to recommend product/program changes to hit objectives.
  • Keep management apprised of business development, account activity and product performance results
  • Identify and coordinate new opportunities to grow and drive results with existing partners using a variety of engagement strategies
  • Visit accounts to onboard new clients and work with key decision makers, influencers and executives on a regular basis to maintain strong relationships and identify necessary account changes and opportunities as quickly as possible.
  • Participate in yearly business planning activities and provide critical insight

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have the ability to influence others without formal authority
  • Must have previously demonstrated success in a sales role
  • Strong communication skills at all levels including the ability to inform, educate, negotiate and persuade

  • Keen eye for new opportunities to diversify distribution channels at the partner level

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Insurance and/or jewelry experience preferred, but not required
