Shepherd’s Chevrolet has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Maintenance/Lube
Technician to join our growing service department. As a Lube Technician, you’ll be responsible for performing quality maintenance on vehicles; such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid refills.

Responsibilities:

The Maintenance/Lube Technician performs routine service inspections and completes standard vehicle maintenance jobs. Our technicians deliver the highest quality service while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

● Perform vehicle maintenance in accordance with factory guidelines.
● Perform oil changes, tire rotations, tire replacements, and balancing.
● Replace air filters, bulbs, batteries, wiper blades, etc.
● Perform courtesy vehicle inspections, including multi-point inspections.
● Complete all work according to dealership applicable safety requirements and published procedures. Comply with all OSHA and EPA policies.
● Ensure the customer’s vehicle is returned to them as clean as it was prior to being serviced or repaired - Wash vehicles as necessary.
● Actively participate in the Manufacturer's Certification Programs.
● Maintain a clean working environment. Participate in cleaning the group area on a daily basis before departing from work.
● Constructively communicate with other dealership personnel as required to satisfy customer needs.

Qualifications:

● Must have a valid drivers license.
● Candidates should be able to lift 75lbs.
● Must be able to safely operate shop equipment.
● Demonstrate the ability to learn and repeat basic mechanical repairs.
● Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers, sales associates, and management.
● Must be reliable and able to work a flexible schedule depending on business needs.
● Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company and customer vehicles
● Ability to stand for eight (8) to ten (10) hours per day
