Omni Technology is seeking knowledgeable, experienced & outgoing fire & alarm system installers and service technicians.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Installation and service of: Security / Fire / CCTV / Access Control

· Installation of Cat 5e/6 Network Cabling

· Customer Education/Training

· Troubleshoot and resolve complicated problems using all available resources appropriately, efficiently and most importantly- thoroughly

· Maintain inventory and ensure accuracy at cycle counts

· Paperwork management: service/install job notes, time sheet, etc.

· Fire alarm system installation, programming & maintenance

· CCTV installation, programming & maintenance (IP & Analog)

· New product research & familiarization

REQUIREMENTS

· Installation, programming & service of fire alarm panels required.

· Experience preferred (Examples: Honeywell Fire-Lite & Silent Knight, Resideo/Honeywell Alarm Panels, Digital Watchdog, Dahua, Total Connect, Alarm.com)

· Experience installing Cat 5e/6 Network Cabling

· Self-motivated, think outside the box, complicated trouble resolution skills

· Must pass national criminal background check

· Professional appearance and good communication skills

· Valid driver’s license with minimal infractions

· Rotating on-call schedule & occasional weekend availability is required

· Occasional over-night travel

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

• Security Systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• CCTV: 1 year (Preferred)
