Summary

The main goal of this position is to ensure inventory is received, shipped and recorded accurately. Assist other departments to maintain accuracy and provide management with timely updates.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Position is 70% indoors (office) and 30% outside in the pipe yard. Must be willing to wear PPE and work in changing climates.
• Utilizes computer software to account for inventory received and shipped, inputting essential data on all inventory handled, adhering to strict accounting procedures.
• Issuing packing lists and Bill of Landings to drivers and inventory trucks as they arrive and exit the facility.
• Making moves, unloads, loads using the inventory management software.
• Completing verifications of material movements including physically verifying material on the yard matches inventory management software.
• Coordinates the reception and storage of pipe inventory with 3rd party companies, ensuring compliance with Tenaris procedures and minimizing costs and downtime to operations.
• Strong proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
• Scheduling incoming and outgoing loads.
• Working with customers and drivers to coordinate shipping and receiving of their material.
• Maintain document filing.
• Maintain Tenaris safety culture and ensure that all employee’s and visitor safety comes first.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Highly Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability and willingness to learn company specific software.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary, including weekends. Flexibility in scheduling is a MUST.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high stress environment.
• Experience with desk phones; personal computer; copy machine; fax machine; radio; 10-key calculator; vehicle, and other equipment pertaining to this position.
• Able to effectively manage time and prioritize projects in order to meet established deadlines
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to effectively abide company policies, procedures, and technology
• Able to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team
• Able to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
• Must have strong conflict resolution skills and ability to de-escalate.
• Experience in SAP is a plus
• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5 years' industrial experience
• Advanced computer skills
• 2 to 3 years' experience in inventory control
• Valid Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time
