CACI is seeking a cleared Logistics Management Specialist (Intermediate) to support the U.S. Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. You will be part of an integrated team to maintain effectiveness in defeating worldwide electronic warfare and signals threats while using your problem-solving skills and able to work with a team while in support of on-going projects managed from the Communications Electronic Command Software Engineering Center’s Army Reprogramming Analysis Team (ARAT) Program Office.
What You’ll Get to Do:
Responsible for organizing and implementing a variety of responsibilities related to the flow of materials, products, services and associated systems information.
Manages the performance of logistics functions including system fault analysis, life cycle maintenance and integrated product support (IPS) of major systems.
Duties may include managing the control of the flow of goods, services and information between the point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements as well as ensuring the execution and improvement of standard logistical processes.
Plans, schedules, and routes imports and exports, including monitoring the flow of traffic to/from international destinations, ensuring related customer service, brokerage, and customs transaction compliance. Assesses and maintains compliance with federal and foreign regulations governing the shipment, receipt, and documentation of imported/exported products.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
An active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
A Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of relevant experience; OR 7 years of relevant experience (in lieu of degree).
Experience with the receipt, inventory, tracking, shipment, and management of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) in support of a DoD program.
Experience with DoD procurement processes, to include receiving material purchase requests, following purchase approval processes, and maintaining an accurate status report of all purchases and received materials.
Experience with the development of logistics schedules, equipment test and calibration criteria, functional descriptions, and data dictionaries.
Ability to keep abreast of logistics literature, policy and guidance, and assess system impact as a result of changes in policy and regulations.
Experience conducting functional field assistance visits as necessary.
Ability to take initiative and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects and tasks.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Army Acquisition Corps Level 1 certification in logistics, program management or information technology is highly desired OR recognized industry equivalent professional certification.
Understanding of the cost and financial implications of logistics management efforts.
Understanding of risk management and mitigation.
Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
Able to digest new technical information at a rapid pace for practical use.
Excellent time management skills.
Flexibility to work with changing requirements as developed and communicated from customer feedback.
Eagerness to improve efficiency and streamline work procedures.
