RESPONSIBILITIES: -

• Operate key machine
• Organize and maintain key boxes in district
• Maintain district keying system
• Review oral and written work orders to determine type of project and general personnel skills to be used
• Plan project work schedules and place orders for necessary material and equipment to perform project
• Maintain the safe condition of all hardware systems in the district
• Understand and follow safe work practices at all times
• Recognize and use general-purpose hand tools
• Perform such other duties as directed by supervisor

JOB GOAL: To perform skilled duties in various trade areas to effectively maintain school buildings, equipment and grounds within the school system.

QUALIFICATIONS: -

• High School diploma or GED
• 5 years work-related experience, preferred
• Possess a valid NC Locksmith License
• Possess a valid NC Driver’s License
• Must have experience with AUTOCAD
• Must be computer literate
• Must maintain proper hardware certifications
• Able to perform heavy work, exerting 100 pounds of force occasionally and 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly, to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
• Able to work for extended periods of time in uncontrolled environments and be exposed to very hot or cold temperatures, high levels of noise and vibration, smoke, dust and other hazards

Pay: From $2,459.39 per month
