Job description
A private family seeks an experienced live-in professional Nanny to assist with the care of their one infant. Must be a warm, loving, experienced Live-in Nanny looking to stay long-term with a loving and secure Family. Must be flexible to travel domestically and internationally. Being bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus but not required. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing all aspects of childcare while creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
- Light tidying up after the children’s play areas, including laundry for the children as needed
- Exercise common sense and can take initiative in order to accomplish tasks and make decisions
- Taking children to and from appointments and activities
- Ensuring the safety of the children at all times
- Planning educational & recreational activities
- Coordinating children’s play-dates, field trips & extracurricular activities
- Manage children’s day-to-day schedule
- Packing and unpacking children’s belongings as needed
- Traveling with family during the summer season to the Hamptons
- Maintain a constant line of communication and report to the parents
- Running errands and procuring children supplies as needed
This is a full-time, live-in position family is based in Miami, FL
The typical schedule is 5 days on and 2 days off, Salary is generous but depends on experience.
Requirements
- Excellent references required from current and previous employers
- Certification in CPR & First Aid
- Loyal, discreet, and sagacious
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Good swimming abilities
- Valid passport
- Flexible to travel with the family
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid United States work authorization
- Languages: English
- Experience: 3+ Years of Experience
- References: Minimum of 2 References
- Background: Pass stringent background checks and drug testing
