As a Linux System administrator, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining system health and security posture, directly supporting customer mission-critical capabilities.
You will work closely with Avalanche program developers and system engineers, as well as engineers on other programs that provide capabilities hosted in the Avalanche-supported environment, to research issues, determine root causes and implement solutions to system problems.

As a Linux System administrator, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining system health and security posture, directly supporting customer mission-critical capabilities.

Required Skills:
- 6 years of experience directly related to Linux System Administration, including installation and maintenance of software and hardware.
- Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux server (RHEL 6 & 7) based systems with minimal support, to include patching, creating RPM packages, performance tuning, networking, user management, and security.
- Experience with BASH scripting
- Experienced using Jira, Ansible, and Red Hat IPA Server.
- In-depth experience with the deployment and administration of systems in Amazon Web Services (AWS)/Commercial Cloud Services (C2S)
- Experience using Agile/Scrum development methodology (SAFe, Scrum, Khanban)
- Must have an active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IA Level II Certification or higher
- Experience with configuration and maintenance of a Kubernetes or similar containerized environment
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification (PLUS)
- Experience administering Amazon Linux servers (Amazon Linux 1 and 2)
- Experience with operating system, security, and application logging technologies
- Experience configuring and utilizing monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, Nagios, Grafana)
