Job Description: Line Service Technicians are responsible for the safe support of aircraft passengers. The Line service technicians are responsible to the manager, flight maintenance. The duties of a line service technician include but are not limited to the following:

  • Works within FoxTrot and customer facilities to maintain a safety first culture with efficient procedures that support customer service.
  • Ensure proper delivery of fuel to the aircraft in accordance with the ATA-103 and guidelines set by the aircraft manufacturer.
  • Provide service for aircraft to include de-ice/anti-ice, lavatory service, aircraft cleaning, and any other service demand necessary, allin accordance with the manufacturers' guidelines
  • Manage ramp and hangars in a way that will facilitate the safe and efficient movement of all aircraft
  • Coordinate aircraft positioning with maintenance personnel in order to maintain a safe and manageable working environment
  • Monitor, inspect, and test all fuel received into inventory, in accordance with the ATA-103 and all standards set by the fuel supplier
  • Perform all necessary quality control checks to ensure that the fuel inventory meets or exceeds industry specifications. This is to include all documentation deemed necessary by the ATA-103.
  • Assist during arrivals and departures to provide comfort and convenience to all passengers
  • Load and unload all luggage, making certain that all bags are properly accounted for.
  • Display proficiency in the use of all GSE required properly maintaining and servicing the corporate fleets
  • Follow all towing procedures that have been developed by each aircraft manufacturer
  • Establish initial and recurring training in accordance with the industry accepted program(NATA Safety 1st)
  • Providing proper detailing skills in accordance with provided checklists and maintaining a standard of excellence when called upon for various other assignments.
  • Communicating with Supervisors and Maintenance Personnel when confronted with scheduling or other unforeseen conflicts.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Education: College Degree Preferred or Equivalent Experience


Pay: $25.00 per hour

Benefits: Medical, Life, Dental, 401(k) with a generous company match (our 401k program is available to both Part-Time and Full-Time employees), and PTO to qualifying Full-Time employees.

Skills: Employee will have to pass a professional line service training certification (PLST) from the National Air Transportation Association once hired.

  • Willing and able to work varied hours and schedules as required
  • Experience in operating, receiving, dispensing jet fuel; experience with aircraft towing and aircraft ground service equipment
  • Must be able to obtain airport badge; experience with aircraft de-icing; experience with aircraft marshalling
  • Must be able to work well with others
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer service skills and computer skills

Requirements:

  • Must be able to pass a 10-year background check and obtain airport badging.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test (this includes the recreational use of Marijuana)
  • Possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
  • Capable of bending, twisting, lifting and using machinery such as buffers for extended periods of time.
  • Perform general manual labor.
  • Be comfortable working with heights.
  • Open availability and flexibility with scheduling.
  • Veterans must provide the form DD214 of discharge information if applicable.
