• Operate pickup, utility, and stake body trucks under 1 1/2 tons to transport materials, merchandise, equipment, or workers to and from various locations within Government reservations and also on public highways and roads in accordance with EM 385-1-1.
• Load or unload truck with or without helpers.
• Make minor mechanical repairs and keep truck in good working order.
• The lifting and carrying of heavy objects weighing up to 80 pounds
• The assistance of higher skilled levels by carrying materials and supplies, building simple objects and forms, and performing necessary heavy manual labor associated with the activity requiring the higher skilled levels.
• The use of a variety of hand tools common to manual labor such as picks, shovels, tamps, wheelbarrows, chainsaws, rakes, and brooms.
• The cleaning of equipment, buildings, recreation facilities, structures, and grounds.
• Maintains and repairs fencing to include but not limited to: chain link and barbed wire.
• Ensures work orders when complete are properly filled out and returned to work management
• Supports the project Safety Plan through personal involvement in all aspects of safety, including training and attention to the adherence to safety requirements pertaining to particular trades or skills.
• This position has been designated as Mission Critical. Mission Critical personnel are defined as those required to meet the Installation’s safety (including inclement weather) and security needs during lockdown conditions.
• This position may be part of an emergency management/response team as required by the company to meet contract requirements
• Operate all equipment in accordance with EM 385-1-1.
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent,
• Valid state driver license or commercial driver license (CDL)
• Three (3) years prior experience preferred.

• Favorable motor vehicle report and background check
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work independently using sound judgment, perform tasks normally associated with vehicle operations and operate heavy trucks in a reliable manner with public safety in mind.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
