We are looking for a Licensed Vocational Nurse - LVN - with an interest in healthcare and who possess a high level of ethics. The Licensed Vocational Nurse will work within an established team of professionals to assist patients with personal care needs, and will have the opportunity to specialize in long term care, nursing home care, rehabilitation center care, acute care and home health care. Our organization is committed to the provision of quality healthcare across San Diego County and we're looking for candidates with a commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with a patient's medical plan of care.
- Assist physician during examinations and treatments.
- Report patient progress to doctor or nurse manager.
- Communicate with patients, family members, and others in a professional manner.
- Administer medications using appropriate technology.
- Discuss medication compliance with patients in a professional manner.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
