ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital is a 114-bed community hospital located in Ahoskie. Serving four nearby counties, the 15-bed emergency department sees approximately 18,000 patients per year. ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital provides a wide range of health services, including medical, surgical and radiation oncology. In addition, the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics serve as referral centers for neighboring ECU Health hospitals and providers.
Position Summary
Assist in providing direct quality patient care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Participates in the assessment of patients. Assists in developing, implementing and evaluating/revising the plan of care. Attends educational programs and staff orientation which promote and professional development. Develops leadership role within the LPN scope of practice. Participates in Service Excellence Program.
Minimum Requirements
- High School plus less than 1 year of formal training or education Specify: LPN Diploma.
- CPR certification; exposure and practice of medication administration from educational preparation and student clinical practice.
- North Carolina LPN Licensure or evidence of application for endorsement and holding temporary LPN licensure.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification.
Other Information
Full-time position 36 hours week- Nights (7pm-7am). Includes weekends and holidays.
Retention Bonus up to $5,000.00
