POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for RN's & LPN's to care for our patients and facilitate their speedy recovery. You will be responsible for educating them and their families on prevention and healthy habits. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional who provides direct nursing care to the patients and residents as well as supervises the nursing activities performed by the licensed vocational nurses and certified nursing assistants. Such care and supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility and as may be required by nursing management to ensure that the highest degree of quality care and cost-effectiveness is maintained at all times.

FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

• Administer professional nursing care, which includes recording patient histories, administering medications, performing diagnostic tests, and developing patient care plans in conjunction with other medical professionals.
• Record observations and document care provided, and report changes in resident status to shift supervisor.
• Primarily responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a resident or an assigned group of residents within an assigned unit and for the day-to-day management and supervision of the related clinical activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active Registered Nurse License
• Knowledge of the principles of nursing care within the RN Scope of Practice
• Demonstrated ability to communicate proficiently both orally and in writing in the English language
