GHR Search is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a 13 week contract on Evening Shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) for a 100 bed Skilled Nursing facility in the York, PA area.

Start Immediately!

• Full Time, 40 hours/week
• Every other Weekend rotation
• LPN Pay Rate: $40-$45/hr
• 3 month contract to start with possible contract extension
• Weekly Pay
• Medical benefits available on contract

Job Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurse:

· LPN Observes residents, monitors vital signs, performs neuro checks and performs all charting and maintains records of vital statistics and other pertinent resident data. This includes resident data collection and other documentation required by facility or governmental agency.

· LPN Administers prescribed medications, injections and treatments in accordance with standard nursing techniques and written instructions, utilizing policies and procedures of facility. Observes residents, records condition and outcomes of drugs or treatments.

· LPN Provides direction to Resident Assistants, Med Techs, and other related staff, notifying physicians, supervisors, family or other appropriate personnel when unusual resident condition exist. Communicates changes in residents conditions, receives, transcribes and completes physician orders.

Requirements:

· Licensed Practical Nurse license in the state of Pennsylvania

· CPR certified

· Knowledge of HIPPA rules and regulations and of regulations and guidelines governing long-term care

· Strong communication skills and ability to effectively interact with others
