Licensed Massage Therapist - Medical Office & Wellness Events

Therapeutic Massage Practice is expanding and has immediate multiple openings for attentive, reliable, skilled, licensed massage therapists. This is a great opportunity for Independent Contractors to work at either one, or multiple locations in the New York / New Jersey area. There are also opportunities to support wellness/corporate events.

NJ Locations:

- Woodcliff Lake, NJ

- Clifton, NJ

NY Location:

- Ardsley, NY

Positions Requirements

• Working knowledge and application of a variety of massage techniques; Swedish, Deep Tissue, Medical - 2 years experience preferred. Must be a professional, reliable, punctual team player.
• Ability to commute to work location(s).
• Possess excellent communication skills and some basic computer working knowledge.
• Must hold and maintain a current state Massage Therapy license NY or NJ (dual licensure in NY/NJ is preferred, but not required).

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s condition and identify affected body parts.
• Apply massage therapy techniques to address pain, improve circulation, relax muscles and eliminate stress.
• Develop therapeutic massage patient treatment plans and provide valuable health advice accordingly.
• Work with other health care professionals on site; acupuncturists and physicians to address whole patient care.
• Remain compliant with all state regulatory boards in regard to intake forms, waivers, and SOAP notes.
