Licensed Electrician
Life Care Centers of America

Position Type: Full-Time

The Licensed Electrician provides maintenance and repair services in a variety of capacities in accordance with all laws, regulations and Life Care standards.

Experience and Education

• Must have an associates’ degree
• Must have a minimum of 3+ years’ experience
• CDL driver’s license is preferred but not required. Company will help obtain after hire.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for all electrical devices at all buildings at corporate
• Makes repairs, troubleshoots, and installs new electrical devices at all buildings
• Responsible for upgrades to fire alarm system and installation of hardware for the door security and fire alarms
• Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the generators at corporate IT department
• Must help with service/repair for non-electrical projects when needed
• Must assist with moving office furniture or computers
• Must help with hurricane evacuation of residents at facilities that require assistance
• Must help with service/repairs, when needed, on generators at facilities when hurricane evacuation is needed

Other Requirements

• Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
• Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
• Must understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
• Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care’s Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance training
