Hiring Salary Range: $67,992 - $71,508

Sandhills Center is a Local Management Entity-Managed Care Organization (LME-MCO) serving people in nine

counties in central North Carolina. We have a robust network of providers who offer treatment and support for

mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities and substance use disorders.

Responsibilities:

• This position will independently provide intensive Care Coordination services to those members with

severe medical or emotional problems.

• Works closely with providers and associate agencies to assure members receive the appropriate level of

services.

• This position is assigned high risk, sensitive and challenging cases. Handles concerns, complaints and

identifies opportunities for improvements.

• Previous work with enhanced services in MH/SU. Knowledgeable of developmental disabilities services,

and services for those with dual diagnosis of Mental Health and Intellectual/Developmental disability

disorders.

• Knowledgeable of resources; appropriate assessments; and continuum of services. Critical analytical

skills in reviewing assessments. Extensive knowledge of service definitions and the entrance process

into enhanced services.

Master’s degree in a human services field and five or more years of counseling experience in mental health

field. Must be fully licensed in North Carolina with a valid LCSW, LPA, LCMHC. Must reside in North Carolina.

The ideal candidate will also have previous work with enhanced services in MH/SU. Knowledgeable of
