Our company is currently seeking a Librarian who is experienced in all facets of library administration and operations. While the Librarian will be responsible for promoting the value of library services to staff members and the community, he or she will also be instrumental in creating a work environment that is conducive to learning and creativity. A successful candidate will have managerial skills, excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to lead by example, and a firm understanding of both print and digital resources.

Responsibilities:

• Provide information services to the general public and specialized reference services to patrons from a wide range of cultural backgrounds, educational levels, and interests.
• Accept reference or information requests in person, via telephone or email, or by completing web-based forms.
• Maintain accurate records of requests for information and other transactions.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with patrons and colleagues.
• Develop new collections of materials to meet the needs of users, patrons, and other constituencies.
• Work collaboratively with staff and management to implement policies and procedures that result in a high quality library service program.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
