Job description
Doyle Security Services (DSS) is currently looking for UNARMED SECURITY OFFICERS in Suffolk County, NY.
Locations & Shifts:
Brookhaven (computer exp.): Saturday - Sunday 1500-2300 Pay Rate: $20.00/hr.
Brookhaven: all shift available Pay Rate: $17.00/hr.
Hauppauge: Sunday-Thursday 2300-0700 Pay Rate: $17.00/hr.
Deer Park: Friday - Tuesday 2200-0600 Pay Rate: $17.00/hr.
Shoreham: Monday-Wednesday 0600-1800 Pay Rate: $16.50/hr.
UNARMED SECURITY OFFICER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
- Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager
SECURITY OFFICER / UNARMED GUARD / SECURITY GUARD REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma / GED required.
- 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
- Valid NYS Security Guard License.
- Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
- Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position.
