Lending Support Associate
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensures loan files contain documents with proper insurance coverage
- Gathers any documents that are missing
- Tracks all exceptions and reports it to the appropriate authorities
- Scans documentation into the core system
- Files incoming documentation into existing loan files for escrow, flood, PMI
- Checks maintenance
- Maintains loans subject to Escrow
- Responsible for Escrow Analysis
- Maintains loans with PMI
- Distributes annual PMI notices
- Maintains loans subject to flood insurance
- Responsible for understanding and adhering to the escrow, PMI and flood regulations
- Sends notices when applicable to borrowers
- Performs a variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures.
- Uses office computers for data input for photocopying, faxing/scanning documents and organizing and maintain document imaging
- Answers telephone and assists customers with routine inquiries regarding payoffs, changes of owner, address change, Smart Pay Express, escrow, PMI, insurance etc.
- Refers companion products for consumer, residential and commercial loan products and services as appropriate to the appropriate employees
- Assists other departments on a temporary basis as needed
- Notary required
- All other duties as assigned
Characteristics & Requirements:
- Must by 18 years old
- Good computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Prompt, organized, efficient and works well under stress
- Ability to effectively work with colleagues on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently with established timeframes
- Ability to work beyond normal business hours
