The Riverside County Public Defender’s Office is now accepting applicants for a Legal Support Assistant I/II. The position will support the Murrieta office. Duties include: working closely with the Law Office Supervisor, performing a wide variety of specialized and responsible clerical work involving the continual use of legal terminology and procedures; assisting in the processing and tracking of various legal documents, records, correspondence, and other related duties as required. Competitive applicants will have front office-desk receptionist (multiple phone lines, heavy typing) and clerical experience in a law office or legal environment. The level hired will be determined by the department.
