Personal injury law firm in Baytown seeks receptionist with great customer service skills, must be detail oriented and possess the ability to transition smoothly from one task to another while fielding phone calls. Applicant must have a professional presence, solid clerical skills, people skills, and telephone skills. Candidates must take required assessments for consideration of this position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Welcoming clients and visitors upon arrival.
• Answering, screening, and forwarding phone calls in a professional manner.
• Ordering and replenishing office supplies.
• Managing the maintenance and repair of office equipment.
• Assisting with copying, scanning, faxing, emailing, note-taking, and travel bookings.
• Maintaining the firm’s public areas ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Assisting legal assistants with case management, as needed.
• Setting up and opening new case files.
• Organizing and filing the firm’s office expenses.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year minimum of experience in customer service, secretarial work, or related training is preferred but not required.
• Spanish speaking capability is an added plus, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
