Hybrid: 2-3 day in Office role
Location: Westminster
1 year temporary assignment with possible extension
£14.01 per hour

Executive Officers should be aware of and comply with compliance criteria set out in the Quality Policies and Procedures set by the Department. Executive Officer should meet divisional chargeable hours target and ensure compliance with time recording guidance, keeping accurate records of time spent on files and in the office. To provide a high quality and cost effective administrative and case work support service to the team. To be accountable for all aspects of each allocated task from outset to job completion. The purpose of the role is to provide effective and efficient administrative support to case holding. You will need to be well organised and able to take the initiative and work closely with others and have good oral and written communications skills. Candidates must have legal experience.

The role will include:
o Preparing letters, Court documents and instructions to Counsel with the basic details required, using the relevant templates.
o Gather requested case reports from electronic legal resources to assist lawyer's in their legal research
o Assisting in the finding and booking of Counsel for advice, conferences, and hearings.
o Liaising with Counsel, experts, the Court, and the client including overseeing the dispatch, collection and return of case documents including through arranging couriers and via egress platform.
o Maintaining electronic records in the G Drive and Case Management System including sweeping up, weeding, and closing files
o Document management throughout the lifetime of a litigation case including photocopying draft bundles for disclosure and hearings (whether in hard copy or electronic form) including indexing/paginating/redactions etc
o Help with hearing preparation, liaising with the Employment Tribunal, printing/sharing bundles, dealing with audio/video files and other administrative arrangements.
o Arranging travel and accommodation for legal team members attending hearings.
o Complying with LEXCEL requirements and assisting the Team Leader and team in ensuring compliance
o Contributing to team knowledge sharing systems and taking minutes of team meetings as per rota.
o Assisting with client case matters, as appropriate
