Job description
This position will be physically located at the USU main Campus in Logan. This is a 1.0 FTE, term appointment, 12-month Fiscal year position.

- Teach graduate courses in instructional leadership.
- Continue development of teaching skills and keep current on content in the field.
- Engage in program development activities.
- Maintain a positive professional reputation based on teaching activity.
- Assist with recruitment to the instructional programs (M.Ed. and ASC).
- Develop partnerships with schools to promote instructional leadership.
- Attend department and program area meetings.
- Support the department and university efforts in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Provide service to the university, college, department, and to the field of education.
- Earned master's degree in educational leadership or completed administrator credential program.
- Current or past Utah administrative licensure.
- Five years experience as a K-12 school administrator.
- Demonstrated commitment to designing and delivering high-quality instruction that supports equity and inclusiveness.
- Effective teaching at the college/university level.
- Experience as a K-12 school principal.
- Experience with distance education delivery (e.g., online, broadcast, blended delivery).
- Ability to lead and organize instructional programs to promote effective student progress.
- Evidence of, or potential for administrative program coordination (e.g., recruitment, advising, accreditation).
- Participation in collaborative LEA and university-based initiatives and partnerships.
- Current curriculum vitae to be uploaded at the beginning of your application in the Candidate Profile under “Resume/CV”
- Copies of teaching evaluations for any university-level instruction to be uploaded in the Candidate Profile under Documents 1-10
