Job Summary: Assesses teammate learning needs; organizes, implements, and evaluates learning activities based on needs; supports the delivery of patient care and customer service; ensures continuous quality improvement. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and/or services appropriate to the ages of the patients/clients served. Supports provision of care/services over an extended time, in various settings. Plans, facilitates, and manages all student nurse activity within UNC Health Blue Ridge. Manages all American Heart Association classes. Performs other related duties as deemed competent.

Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; minimum BSN required. Minimum three (3) years experience in a healthcare education environment. Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to work independently but also accept direction as needed, and prioritize effectively; Excellent customer service skills; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; computer skills to include excel and PowerPoint; Skilled at managing multiple projects and competing priorities; Excellent ability to work in a team environment and reliably support department operations; Instructor Certification for BLS, ACLS, PALS and/or other certification is highly preferred. Typical Physical Demands: Standing, walking and sitting (occasionally for prolonged periods). Requires functional vision and hearing, eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity and lifting to 35 pounds.
