Position Summary

The Learning and Performance Consultant (LPC) is a key contributor to the success of the Global Customer Service (GCS) Education Services team. This position is responsible for the creation and management of MMS product, process, and services learning and performance solutions for GCS associates and customers. The LPC completes key driver components of the GCS Education Services strategy. Reporting to the Manager of GCS Education Services, the LPC collaborates with other GCS Education Services team members, GCS partners, Marketing, Readiness, and R&D teams to achieve department goals. The LPC demonstrates in-depth technical knowledge of the Parata portfolio of products, including workflows and impact.

Key responsibilities:

  • Organizational Success

    • Support GCS strategies and initiatives benefiting internal and external customers.

    • Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Readiness, Professional Services, Service & Support, and GCS leadership to ensure business and training strategy alignment.

    • Liaison with field associates supporting training-related activities/projects.

    • Set individual priorities in context with team priorities to meet goals in the face of multiple demands.

  • Training Program Management

    • Align with GCS Education Services team members to provide subject-matter expertise and guide the development of educational materials and curriculum plans.

    • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of assigned MMS products, processes, and services.

    • Demonstrate consulting skills by following an interactive process using probing questions and active discussion to understand the goals of internal and external customers and then guide them to an optimal solution based on research and expertise

    • Actively participate in readiness activities for upcoming releases of assigned products, processes, and services.

    • Apply workflow assessments, optimization engagements, and change leadership principles to positively influence product adoption/utilization.

    • Work across diverse teams, cultures, and time zones.

    • Synthesize voice of the customer (VOC) and voice of the associate (VOA) to ensure satisfaction and continuous program improvement.

    • Balance workload in a fast-paced environment while working on concurrent projects.

    • Support the development and delivery of high-quality training and performance solutions.

  • Training Development, Delivery, & Management

    • Assess workflow impact of new product releases and translate information into educational materials.

    • Lead/facilitate customer and associate in-person or virtual training sessions for assigned products, services, and processes.

    • Use a variety of training methodologies and adult learning principles to drive engaging training delivery.

    • Develop instructor-led course materials (instructor guides, student guides, PowerPoint slides, assessments, and other materials as appropriate).

    • Leverage technology and tools to support/improve instruction, such as CloudShare, Kahoot!, Slido, OneNote, LMS systems, etc.

    • Conduct course needs assessments and evaluations to inform continuous improvement.

    • Ensure training schedules, tools, environments, and facility standards are kept up to date to ensure effective and efficient training delivery and training demands are met.

    • Demonstrate knowledge in the field of education/learning and of the latest tools, techniques, and standard processes.

    • Manage instructor-led course registration and credit for completion in customer and associate learning management systems (LMS). Work with LMS administrators to set up courses and curricula.

  • Business Relationships & Alignment

    • Support Education Services pivotal initiatives with cross-business impact and involvement.

    • Create and manage professional communications through a variety of platforms: SharePoint portals, forums, Chatter, email, MailChimp, bulletins, etc.

    • Agile and flexible amid evolving business strategies.

    • Navigate within a matrixed environment.

    • Inspire team by identifying and recognizing successes.

    • Provide appropriate feedback to peers and others to facilitate continuous improvement

Education Qualifications & Previous Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required in Education or related field

  • Technical knowledge of Parata product portfolio

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the development/delivery of education/training

  • Current knowledge in the fields of instructional design, education, adult learning, training methodologies, etc.

Desired/Additional Skills & Knowledge:

  • Foundational knowledge of product (Insert as applicable)

  • Healthcare experience a plus

  • Experience developing, and delivering training programs, educational materials, and online tools

  • Influence without authority

  • Ability to develop and deliver learning to a wide range of audiences and cultures

Any Additional Information

  • Ability to travel up to 50%.

  • Home-based position; able to maintain a virtual, professional presence during business hours

  • Driving requirements dictate that the candidate possess and maintain a valid driver license and be at least 21 years old
