Our Learning and Development Specialist will be a contributing member of the learning and development team, focusing on leadership development curriculum. Enable the organization to develop the best talent across all Rollins brands in alignment with the Rollins culture and strategy.

Responsibilities:
You Will . . .

  • In the focus area of Leadership Development, facilitate high quality, hard skill solutions including:
    • curriculum and learning materials
    • transfer of training materials
    • learning transfer strategies
  • Be a subject matter expert in the curriculum and tools taught
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations in the services and solutions we provide
  • Act as a voice of the learner
  • Be an active member of the Learning and Development team
  • Coach and reinforce knowledge transfer post-training
  • Engage with other Rollins Learning teams to maximize training resources
  • Advise and support curriculum path, content and scheduling
  • Be self-managed and capable of completing required tasks
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal customers and external organizations (associations, vendors, community, etc.)
  • Assist train-the-trainer classes, super-user classes, and/or end-user classes
  • Complete projects on time and on budget
  • Respond to customer requests in a timely manner
  • Partner with training coordinator to ensure all course activities are completed:
    • Receive appropriate records, files and documentation
    • Design classroom setup for target audience
    • Specify materials and supplies for classes
  • Increase personal credibility by staying current in learning and development, area of expertise (sales, service, and administration) and the business
  • Be prepared for all classes and meetings
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Fiscally aware of team’s budget
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Possess the expertise to deliver learning solutions in at least one of the assigned functional areas: sales, service, leadership or admin
  • Travel opportunity to support our business, but is overall minimal.

Qualifications:

The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):

  • College degree preferred or related experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience, with a minimum two years specifically with:
    • Learning and development experience in facilitating training focused on Leadership Development
    • Assist in:
      • Identifying customer needs
      • Design and development of blended learning solutions that include self-directed learning and, instructor-led learning (face-to-face and distance learning) by partnering with Instructional Design team
      • Designing and developing performance support
    • Working in a large, complex organization
    • Direct experience in leadership/ management support

This role is onsite during core business hours at our corporate headquarters in Atlanta, GA (Buckhead area).
