Under the general supervision of the Lead Cardiovascular Technologist provides leadership to the employees in the Cardiovascular Services-Ultrasound department.

What You Will Do in This Role:

• Evaluates clinical skills.
• Supportive of excellence in pillars of quality, growth, finance, patient experience, employee engagement.
• Provides quality patient care while performing/assisting non-invasive procedures in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Completion of a cardiac sonography program, or an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an allied health related field or grandfathered in with current certification listed below.
• BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire.
• Certification from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International with Active status in Adult Echocardiography required.
• Certification with ARDMS (RVT) or ARRT (VS-Vascular Sonography), or CCI (RVS) and RDCS (PE) or RCS (PE) recommended upon hire and/or required within 18 months of hire.
• 5 years’ experience in cardiology required with management experience preferred.

This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).

Overland Park Regional Medical Center is a 340+ bed facility offering acute medical services to our patients. We are Johnson County’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level II Trauma Center. We have an Accredited Stroke and Chest Pain Center. Our hospital is a premier area destination for Women's & Children’s healthcare services. We offer the region’s only Maternal Fetal Health Center to care for critically ill mothers and their babies. Our hospital has an antepartum unit, a labor and delivery unit, and a Level III NICU.
