Hours:
Primarily Monday - Friday – 6AM to 2:30PM with OT (hours vary between 5AM to 3:30PM), with occasional Saturday processing.

About The Job:
The Lead Worker (Operations) is responsible for assisting the Textile Operations Coordinator in overseeing the production areas, while maintaining the highest possible quality, production, sanitation, and safety standards in Textile Service operations. Personally completes work or assigns work where needed to provide for completed daily operations that are effective and efficient for direct/indirect customers.

What we are looking for:

Education:

High school diploma or certificate required.

Experience:

Must have demonstrated competence of overseeing employees or lead worker type experience for at least one year required, preferably in a commercial/institutional laundry or manufacturing facility.

Some experience within an institutional or commercial laundry, with a working knowledge of the work assignments within Textile Services preferred.

Special Skills, Competencies, and Aptitudes:

Demonstrated ability to oversee associates.

Ability to effectively communicate and work with a board cross section of people.

An aptitude for record keeping.

An interest in continuing education/development.

Must be dependable and be able to work flexible hours.

Must have an ability to handle working with grossly soiled linen, such as body fluid and unfavorable odors related to soiled linen items.

Some experience operating computers and working with automated equipment.
