Kid’s Town Montessori is hiring Infant and Toddler Teachers in our Cameron Park location. We are a medium sized program with a fun atmosphere that loves creativity in their teachers. Kid’s Town takes a team approach with our teachers. We work together to make sure our school is not only a great environment for our students, but our staff too. Fun is a big part of our day. We want to enjoy our time with our students and each other. We are looking for people with at least 6 ECE units including Infant Development units and continuing their Early Childhood units. Individuals will be working with fully qualified and experienced teachers.

Responsibilities

• Develop a careful and creative program suitable for infants and toddlers.
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.) to teach children
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
• Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
• Guide children to learn to love learning in a Montessori environment
• Organize child’s day using primary caregiving model.
• Track children’s progress and report to parents
• Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and current needs. This should be a team relationship with the parents.
• Collaborate with other educators
• Maintain a clean and organized environment and have all paperwork completed throughout the day.

• Certification in child CPR/First Aid within 6 months of employment
• Fingerprint clearance upon hire
• TB Clearance upon hire
• Proof of MMR/TDap/flu vaccine upon hire

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
