AFA Landscape Construction is a family operated, full-serviced landscape and seasonal maintenance company located Cheektowaga, New York. Since 2004, AFA continues to achieve the highest quality and service for all of our customers.

We offer commercial and residential lawn maintenance services throughout Western New York, primarily servicing Clarence, Williamsville, and East Amherst areas. Our specialty is Landscape and Hardscape Design and Installation.

Our company is looking for a Mower to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for mowing lawns, trimming edges, and performing other landscaping duties as needed. The ideal candidate should have experience operating mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping equipment and be able to follow instructions and complete tasks in a timely manner. We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a mower to cut grass and other vegetation.
• Maintain mower and other equipment in good working order.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed while operating mower.
• Empty grass catcher when full.
• Check for debris in the mowing area before starting the mower.
• Inspect mowing area for any hazards or obstacles before starting the mower.
• Clean up debris after mowing.

Requirements:

• Applicants must have reliable transportation to and from job sites.
• Experience: 1+ years experience with law cutting.
• Starting pay is $16/hour and is based on the applicant's experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Williamsville, NY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
