Job description
We are looking for an attentive Laundry Attendant to support the functions of our hotel and the needs of our guests.
A Laundry Attendant’s responsibilities include cleaning and folding laundry as needed. They may also be responsible for inventory of laundry supplies and other duties around the facility.
Ultimately, you will play a crucial role in the presentation of the hotel by ensuring all textiles are well cared for and maintained.
Responsibilities
- Folding laundry
- Keep an updated inventory of laundry supplies
- Ensure that the facility remains clean at all times
- Anticipate and respond to guests queries, concerns and complaints
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Laundry Attendant or similar role
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to bend and lift
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
