Job description

We are looking for an experienced, professional laundry attendant, who will attend to our facilities with integrity and attention to detail. The goal is to clean, fold and store hotel linens in a timely, organized manner to ensure that laundry and linen needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Receives soiled linens by bag, cart or chute from the floors. Sorts all articles by kind, color and degree of soil. Inspects all laundry and linens and records all damaged or stained items. Pre-treats linen prior to washing as needed.
• Operates washers and dryers according to recommended capacity and other manufacturers’ guidelines. Ensures necessary laundry products are added in the correct quantities prior to wash cycles.
• Folds clean linens and stores as appropriate.
• Maintains all laundry equipment and informs supervisor of malfunctioning equipment
• Handles and treats contaminated articles per company and OSHA standards.
• Monitors and replaces laundry products for washing machines and dryers as needed.
• Assists in daily, weekly, and/or monthly linen and laundry products counts for inventories as directed
• Assists in cleaning of common areas
• Assists in stripping and helping in rooms as needed
• Keeps laundry room and area clean and organized according to standards.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices

• Working quickly without compromising quality
• Background Check/Drug Screening
• High school degree

Starting at $13.00, possibility of more with experience.

Full Time Employees are eligible for Holiday Pay, PTO and other benefits.
