We are hiring a Latina Partnerships Coordinator who will help River Valleys increase engagement with Latinx communities to create opportunities for Latina girls to become Girl Scouts and adults to become volunteers.


The Latina Partnerships Coordinator recruits and mentors Latina volunteers. These volunteers lead troops that center the unique experiences of Latinas in Minnesota. The Coordinator acts as a troop leader while leading girls directly in school- and partner-based Girl Scout troops. The Coordinator also works with the Latinx Partnerships Lead to create high-quality special programs and engagement experiences for girls and families.

This position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively as well as independently to set and achieve program goals and strategies.


What this looks like on the job. The Latina Partnership Coordinator will:

  • Build relationships and partnerships with Latinx communities, families, and community youth organizations.
  • Implement culturally responsive and specific recruitment strategies
  • Plan, promote, and implement troop formation activities in assigned areas
  • Provide authentic and responsive troop leader coaching, support, and customer service.
  • Lead high-quality programming directly for girls, ensuring content and delivery methods are culturally responsive and center the unique experiences of Latinas.
  • Support girls in attending evening or weekend Girl Scout events, participating in the Cookie Program, and attending summer camps.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and/or work experience, preferably in education, program/project management, or a related field
  • You have at least two years of professional work experience that includes experience working with Latinx communities and diverse populations of staff, adult volunteers, and/or youth.
  • You have a license and access to a vehicle for your use. This job requires frequent travel between sites. Mileage reimbursement and mobile phone reimbursement are provided.
