Job description

The Mary Louis Academy is seeking a part-time medical leave replacement Latin Teacher for Latin Level III to include two elective classes of Greek and Latin Roots for Medical Terminology. This position is to begin March 1, 2023.

A degree of BA/BS and/or MA/MS Latin, NYS Certification strongly preferred with experience of 2-5 years preferred but we would consider 0-2 years.

Emphasis on preparation for the NYS Comprehensive Latin Regents Exam in June.

Must be well versed in classroom technology to include, iPad, Triumph Board, e-books, etc., in order to develop lessons to include using such technology.

Willingness to be involved in extracurricular activities, language competitions and other school sponsored events.
