SUMMARY OF ROLE:
Responsible for managing all daily Landscaping Irrigation operations of the business, managing irrigation technician schedules, assisting the office staff with scheduling issues, and providing exceptional customer service to customer disputes.

We are open to applicants from the following industries: Lawncare, Landscaping, Sprinkler System, Maintenance, Labor/Laborer, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the daily schedules and operations of the entire Lawncare irrigation team
  • Provide support to the office staff with scheduling issues
  • Provide Sprinkler System training and support to all Labor/Laborer field technicians
  • Lead weekly meetings with the team to discuss team successes and areas for growth
  • Estimating an irrigation installation and service projects as well as Maintenance.
  • Assist the office staff with any customer disputes
  • Provide the leadership team with weekly reports including production levels for employees, revenue, cost of materials, scheduling gaps, areas for growth, etc.
  • Performs some of functions related to billing including but not limited to estimate processing, invoicing, creating deposit slips, bill processing and follow up.
  • Supports and maintains positive relations with all customers, subcontractors and vendors.
  • Drives new customer relationships and provide the leadership team with new revenue opportunities
  • Tracks inventory level of and places orders for all field supplies.
  • Creates and updates a field services vehicle maintenance schedule. Proactively schedules and follows up on company vehicle service.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Appropriate level of customer service experience and skills.
  • Landscape irrigation Management Experience and electrical trouble shooting
  • Understanding of basic financial terminology and how to track them– Cost of Labor, Cost of Material, Gross Margin, Margin vs. Mark-up
  • Effective communication skills with employees at all levels.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to organize, plan and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work autonomously and understand when the Franchise Owner needs to be involved in decision making.
  • Sensitivity to problems or challenges - The ability to identify when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong, with the skill to effectively communicate with customers in a professional, consultative manner.
  • Deductive Reasoning – The ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce sensible and reasonable answers.
  • Oral Comprehension – The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through verbal communication.
  • Effective decision making – The ability to analyze information, evaluate results, and implement the best solution to solve problems or challenges.
  • Self-motivated, with a dedication to keeping up to date professionally, and applying new knowledge to the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • 5 years of irrigation management experience
  • 3 years of customer service experience
  • Experience with computer, computer software (Microsoft Office applications) and other relevant forms of technology, including the use of email.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and other pre-employment screening

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of irrigation experience
  • CIT or CLT certification is a PLUS

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS include but are not limited to:

  • Able to life and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Able to move, sit, stand, kneel or a combination rapidly through the day
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment is characteristic of a standard office environment. Electrical hazards related to frequent contact with office equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Schedule:
