Landscape Technician
Hoffman Development is seeking a temporary/seasonal Landscape Technician! We take great pride in the appearance and upkeep of our locations, and are looking for an experienced individual to join our team.
- All aspects of greenhouse work: potting, watering, transplanting and plant maintenance
- Landscape work: soil modification, tilling, planting flowers, trees and shrubs, mulching, pruning, watering, clean up, weeding and deadheading
- Lawn care: mowing, trimming, string trimming, blowing debris and using all turf related equipment
- Work independently and with fellow staff members in maintaining Hoffman properties
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous landscaping experience is required. Irrigation experience is preferred.
- Some experience operating heavy equipment, loader and landscape equipment.
- Valid NY State driver’s license without restrictions or limitations.
- Work in all weather conditions.
- Able to lift 50 lbs. from ground to 4 ft.; stoop and lift 30 lbs. from ground to overhead; bend, reach, lift, climb ladders.
Benefits:
- Monday - Friday - 6:00am to 3:30pm work schedule with opportunity for overtime.
- $18 - $23 per hour, overtime available
- Free Car Washes.
