Trail Creek Nursery and Landscaping is expanding. We are searching for a responsible and motivated self starter to be our new Landscape Supervisor and manage a landscape installation foreman and teams in the beautiful Jackson hole and Teton Valleys. The Landscape supervisor's responsibilities include overseeing the construction of outdoor spaces, monitoring and training workers, supervising the use of equipment, ensuring staff observe safety guidelines and protocols, working with general contractor leadership and completing various administrative duties including leadership skills.

To be successful as a Landscape Supervisor, you should be able to both follow and provide instructions. A Landscape Supervisor should constantly be expanding their horticulture knowledge, be a keen problem-solver, and possess remarkable communication skills.

Landscape Supervisor Responsibilities:

Delegating tasks and overseeing the use of tools and equipment.

Training new crew members.

Assessing progress and making recommendations.

Ensuring all crew members obey health and safety regulations at all times.

Completing landscape design and construction.

Completing inventory checks and equipment inspections.

Preparing spreadsheets and other documents.

Providing cost, material, equipment, and time estimates.

Scheduling training sessions wherever required.

Landscape Supervisor Suggested Experience and Abilities :

A valid driver's license

Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions.

Experience in leadership roles, welding, vehicle and equipment maintenance, low voltage electricity, Spanish language skills, Class A CDL drivers license, driving large vehicles with large trailers, irrigation design, irrigation diagnosis and repair, reading landscape construction documents, familiarity with pvc and polyethylene pipe and fittings. Skidsteer and excavator operating skills. Knowledge of tree, shrub, and flower placement for design aesthetics and plant light and water requirements, Snow removal knowledge.

Training is available for any desired skills and abilities.
