Landscape Production Manager

Since the start of Paradise Lawn and Landscape, we’ve become the standard for high-end commercial and residential maintenance and landscape services in the Johnson County area. We maintain commercial and residential properties and provide the following services:

· Turf, tree, and shrub Chemical Applications

· Mowing, bed maintenance, Spring/Fall Clean-up, Shrub/Tree trimming

· Irrigation services (Inspections, Start-up/Shutdown, installs, and repairs)

· Lighting (Installs and repairs)

· Hardscape and Landscape Installs

· Snow Removal

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

· Knowledge of plant material identification, growth habits, and trimming requirements.

· Work effectively with computer software (Aspire, Excel) to accurately complete required tasks.

· Inspecting properties prior to scheduled service to develop an action plan and perform hands-on work as needed.

· Proactively address issues that arise in your areas of responsibilities to ensure quick resolution and minimize potential liability.

· Ensuring the proper maintenance, storage, and use of company equipment.

· Coordinating materials, people, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure job site quality meets company standards.

· Direct crews in the implementation of their daily schedules/tasks.

· Ordering materials as needed and monitoring costs and deliveries.

· Provide hands on training and support of crew personnel in areas such as proper and safe operations of equipment, landscaping techniques, etc.

· If necessary, perform hands on work with the crews to meet work and scheduling demands.

Requirements:

· A minimum 2 years’ experience in the landscaping industry.

· A minimum of 1-year experience in a supervisory role.

· Working knowledge of Aspire and Outlook are a plus.

· Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Job Type:

· Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm)

Benefits:

· $50,000 - $65,000 a year

· Bonus pay

· Paid Holidays (New Year’s Eve, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)

· Paid Time Off (must work at the company for 1 year to qualify, employee will receive a week paid)

· Parental Leave (one week)

Experience:

· Landscaping or Horticulture: 2 years (preferred)

· Supervisory: 2 years (preferred)

· Project management lifecycle: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

· Driver's License (Required)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
