Job Requirements:
-Minimum of 3 years experience
-Survey Crew Chief Responsibilities:
-Provide field work for Construction Staking, Boundary Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Topographic Surveys and various other project types
-Operate GPS, Total Stations and Data Collectors
-Experience with Terrestrial, Mobile and Drone Based Lidar Lidar a definite plus
-FAA Part 107 Certification a definite plus
-Upload/download files between data collectors and internal server
-Maintain productive working relationships with all clients and coworkers
-Follow company Safety, Quality Management and Equipment Maintenance policies
Required Experience
-Must be proficient operating Total Stations and GPS Equipment and Levels for all surveying activities pertaining to control networks, boundaries, ALTA’s, topography, and construction staking.
-Applicant should have a valid license and clean driving history
-Must be able perform tasks and solve problems with a high degree of autonomy
-Possess basic Microsoft Office computer skills
-Ability to travel and remain on a project site for shorter periods of time
Preferred Experience
- Experience searching for Public Land Survey System (PLSS) monuments and other related survey monuments
- Residential and/or Commercial development and construction projects
· Electric, wind energy, solar energy, or related other related projects
· Coordinating activities with office personnel, including surveying technicians and project managers
-Experience with Terrestrial, Mobile of Drone Based Lidar
-FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot License
Physical Requirements
-Required to carry survey equipment and supplies in remote, rural or urban surroundings
-Required to to lift equipment and supplies and walk long distances
