D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Land Acquisition Assistant for their Operations Department. The right candidate will be responsible for providing administrative assistance to the Land Acquisition Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Contract administration
-
With direction, submit plans to City or County agencies for processing

Distribution and review of department documents (i.e., sequence sheets, development schedules, color scheme documents, plans, lot exhibits, phasing maps, etc.)

Prepare check requests for various permits and fees

Data entry of project information (plan types, lot #, addresses, phasing, etc.)

With direction, coordinate building plan submission with consultants
-
Process bond requests
-
Process certificate of insurance requests
-
Maintain filing
-
Log and track plans, check requests and contracts

Assist with budget updates and invoice approval
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
