Duration: 2 months contract

Pay Rate: $19/hr.

Shifts: 8-Hrs M - F

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operations Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing all warehouse activities while maintaining company standards in safety, security, quality, and productivity. Duties include accurately processing all orders in a timely fashion, receiving and shipping materials, supplies, and products, sorting, filling, packing, and arranging orders from warehouse stock, assembling customer orders, and performing routine and repetitive operations and processes. The Warehouse Operations Associate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area, as well as assisting in maintaining the security of the warehouse.

Duties:

• Accurately process all orders in a timely fashion
• Receive and ship materials, supplies, and products
• Sort, fill, pack, and arrange orders from warehouse stock
• Assemble customer orders from stock and stage orders
• Check orders for exactness and neatness
• Efficiently move and load products from staging and storage areas into trailers
• Perform picking duties in an efficient manner that meets both company and customer standards
• Seal, weigh, transport, stack, and label parcels with appropriate identification labels
• Handle and maintain the flow of materials and products in distribution areas according to established guidelines
• Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment once necessary company training is completed
• Maintain company standards regarding safety and security
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area
• Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse
• Participate in all required safety training and constantly adhere to all rules and regulations given during courses
• Comply with all warehouse safety rules, OSHA regulations, and SDS standards
• Demonstrate the ability to learn necessary skills, knowledge, abilities, and behaviors for cross-training and job assignments in all departments
• Other duties as assigned

Skills:

• Ability to follow standardized procedures, verbal, and written instructions
• Ability to read and write in English, count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly
• Ability to work in a team environment and work with minimum supervision
• Dependable with a good attendance record
• Ability to work overtime when business needs require
• Capable of sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift/push/carry up to 50 lbs. frequently, which may include overhead
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold)
• Ability to work from variable heights while wearing a safety harness while working in a position that requires the use of equipment operation

Education:

• Preferred High School Diploma or GED, but not required.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $19.00 per hour
