Job description

Acara Solutions is looking for a Bay Helper / Laborer for our Client located in Worcester, MA.

• General Factory Labor is used to assist as assigned through the facility, to include delivering parts and raw material to various machine centers, sweeping, cleaning of equipment and parts, lifting and moving heavy objects, assisting with hand labor and housekeeping.
• Must follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Use personal protective equipment as required.
• Must demonstrate teamwork and resolve issues effectively and professionally.
• Exemplary attendance is a must
• Deliver and move as needed Parts and Material throughout the factory.
• Empty trash and metal chip containers.
• Assist Machine Operators as needed to set up parts and maintain area clear. Other work may be assigned at Management"s direction.

Pay and Benefits:
The salary for this position is $15.00 per hour (Pay rate).

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• At least a High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years" experience in Bay Helper / Laborer

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• Certifications In house training provided to obtain certifications required.
• Driver"s license required.
• Tools/Equipment Used: Hand Tools; Fork Trucks
• Ability to utilize full range of body movement to reach, climb, balance, stoop and kneel.
• Certified and drive company"s fork trucks.
• Drive company"s vehicle for short distance trips.

Additional Information:

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
• Safety Equipment Used: Safety Boots; Safety Glasses; Gloves; Fall Protection; Ear Plugs; Depending on assignment may require other safety equipment/clothing.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
