Job description
What you will do: Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. Our Level II Labor and Delivery unit delivers approximately 2,500 births per year.
Hours: Registry/PRN -Various 12 hr day shifts 7am-7:30pm; Includes weekend and holiday rotationsWhat you will need:
- Illinois Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license
- Associate’s Degree or higher in Nursing
- If Associate’s Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing program and graduate within five years of position start date
- If Associate’s Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing program and graduate within five years of position start date
- Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross (BLS Provider or BLS Instructor)
- ACLS Certification within 6 months of start date
- NRP Certification within 6 months of start date
- C-EFM Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification within one year of start date
- Minimum one year acute care experience as a Registered Nurse, L&D experience preferred
