What We Need:
  • We need a Label Technician responsible for operating, cleaning, and troubleshooting labeling equipment.
What You Will Do:
  • You will work with a diversified team, led by our Plant Production Manager
  • You will be responsible for maintaining workstation cleanliness
  • You will be responsible for completion of Weekly Safety One Point Lessons
  • You will perform Quality Checks in accordance to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
  • You will learn how to use each type of Labeler (Krones, Tronics, Langguth Rotary, Langguth In-Line and WS)
  • You will set-up and adjust bottle cod text, clarity, and positioning
  • You will be required to cleaning equipment, including, excessive glue build up, label build up and product build up.
What You Need:
  • Minimum of a High School Education
  • 1+ years’ experience in manufacturing environment
  • Experience with machine or tooling changeovers; comprehension of Preventative Maintenance
  • Experience in performing basic lubrication, greasing and parts inspection
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; professionalism, problem solving, attention to detail
  • Self-motivated with a strong dedication for success, taking pride in workmanship
  • Working effectively in a team environment, positive attitude
  • Participation in employee training as it relates to GMP’s, Health and Safety, periodic technical training as it relates to internal development, active participation of Line Improvement and Optimization activities ensuring high performance of Production
  • Computer proficiency, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook etc.
  • Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, GMP and other quality programs
  • Ability to work in varying climates
  • Ability to work independently with high quality and productivity
  • Willing to work flexible hours and frequent overtime including weekends
  • Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, diagrams, schematics, equipment instructions, requirements, and business correspondences.
  • Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 pounds in a repetitive nature and must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work in an environment exposed to milk, egg, mustard, peanuts, fish, sulfites, sesame, soy, tree nuts, and wheat allergens
