Job Summary: Supervises and performs various duties in the kitchen, restaurant, bar, room service, and meeting room to include taking appropriate actions to correct deficient conditions, behaviors, and work practices. Ensures the quality of all meals, snacks, functions and beverages meet or exceed the required brand standards to include providing efficient service. Works with management and staff to ensure monthly food and beverage cost goals are met.

Job Qualifications: Must have the ability to work with management, associates, guests, and the general public in a courteous, tactful and patient manner. Must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Must be dedicated, hard-working, and self-motivated to work independently with little guidance.

Responsibilities & Specific Duties:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all hotel guests, making their stay as comfortable and accommodating as possible while achieving team and Cambria brand goals.
  • Ability to work as a team player with all levels of hotel staff.
  • Thoroughly understand and implement the Cambria brand service culture.
  • Operate flat top grill, range, stove, deep fryer, and other cooking equipment.
  • Prepare recipes and menu items to established brand and company standards including the breakfast buffet, market food items, catered lunches, and dinner menu items.
  • Washes dishes, pots, and pans and keeps all kitchen equipment clean.
  • Ensures the proper setup and organization of F&B storage areas.
  • Perform inventories of food, beverage, liquor, wine, and non-consumables.
  • Prepare F&B orders from approved vendors – to include food, beverage, paper products, and cleaning supplies.
  • Ensures that all food and beverage areas and outlets are kept clean and maintained to local health codes. This includes the kitchen and all food prep areas, barista bar, restaurant dining room, and food storage areas.
  • Ensures that breakfast menu items and the breakfast buffet are set up, prepared and served to brand specifications.
  • Ensures that the market food items are prepared and maintained to brand standards.
  • Ensure subordinate employees are trained and performing to brand quality and service standards.
  • Ensures that necessary controls and procedures are in place and followed in order to meet and exceed corporate food and beverage cost goals.
  • Ensures that the entire guest experience (food quality, sanitation, service, menu items, etc.) meets or exceeds established brand standards.
  • Ensures that meeting room BEO’s are followed in order to meet and exceed the guest’s expectations.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
